I’ve been a tad quiet. I suppose that’s because there’s not much to say. I mean, since the exciting weekend just gone, it doesn’t seem like Cosmopolitan Carnival holds a candle, but beyond what I’m doing, it sure as hell does!
Cosmopolitan Carnival is a yearly event held across Leicester’s city centre that celebrates the city’s multiculturalism, with music from brass bands to latin jazz to spoken word. Though music isn’t everything here, with free arts workshops for all the family available, a variety of market stalls, comedy, dance, you name it!
You can check out the events listings below. I’ll be performing two songs on the Clock Tower stage throughout the afternoon, so pop by and say hello! I’m also playing bass for the Tony Webster Band for you to groove and move to.
P.S. I need to know my two ‘best’ songs (excluding the more explicit ones like Aftertaste), so if you’ve seen me live before and have suggestions, they will be welcomed! I’m thinking Burrowed In and Lonely Man Blues, but I’m the artist not the listener!
Until then, folks!
